Select Image Button Not Work

Hi, I uploaded this to my wp theme and there is a new section called "Custom Background Example".
But the upload button seems not work. Is there anything I miss ? The wp version is 4.6.1.

Also, I'm wondering how to render this custom background image in frontend ?
Is there any function or variable i can use in theme layout files ?

Hi @allensph,

Ensure you have enqueued the customize-controls.js file in the 'enqueue' function of the class-customize-background-image-control.php class.

After that your upload button should work fine. However, I am stuck to render this custom background option values on the fron-end side. Could you figure it out?

Hi @allensph,

I could get value by using 'get_theme_mod' function like this: get_theme_mod( 'example_background_image_url' )

If you want to get this value as 'get_option' then you would need to define it in the settings as I have pointed in the following screenshot.
