Description
As a user of Solicitor, I want to explicitly set the Microsoft 365 Sensitivity Label of generated Excel-based reports to a specific value so that the generated documents comply with possible company specific requirements to label all documents.
Whilst it is possible to set a sensitivity label directly in the template file used for the report this has severe limitations:
- Sensitivity Labels are not standardized, so every company would probably require own template files with their specific sensitivity labels.
- The template itself probably is less sensitive than the final report (containing data). The report template samples included in Solicitor are even unrestricted / Open Source.
- Depending on the context (even within a single company) the correct sensitivity label to be applied to a report might differ.
AC:
- The value of the sensitivity label which should be applied to the generated Excel reports is defined as application specific property (e.g. in
application.properties) - The given sensitivity label is set in all Solicitor reports created by the
ExcelWriter - It is possible to configure Solicitor so that any sensitivity label already existing in the template remains unchanged.
