my situation is coming from the perspective of running YunoHost, which features dex as a provate cloud app https://github.com/YunoHost-Apps/dex_ynh

I'm aware of WebFinger, the system that ties email to OpenID Connect login, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/WebFinger

using an email address as login is a thing that users are familiar with

I was wondering if this could relate to dex in the future somehow?
