dillo exit 254 on OLPC-XO-1

Hi,

I try to use a self-compiled dillo on a OLPC XO-1 laptop running with cross-compiled OpenADK system.
I get "exit 254". What does it mean? Latest Xorg with FBDEV driver is in use. Attached is the output and
strace log. What can I do to fix it?

Are you running dillo as root? Perhaps try using a normal user.

Something is causing a call to exit_group(-2) (which is underflowing an unsigned byte 256-2 = 254), you can try putting a breakpoint in GDB in exit and/or exit_group and print the backtrace to see where it is coming from.

We don't have any call to exit in dillo with negative values, so it is likely coming from elsewhere.

Hi, thanks. I build everything with -Og -g and did not strip the binaries. I installed gdbserver. But now it works.
Does dillo is anxious about being debugged? ;)
So closing ATM, not sure I will debug it further by trying to find the library which is doing the exit when compiled with -Os.
