When used with dash to panel, scrolling switches workspaces also

I have set dash to panel to switch workspaces when scorlled over the panel and this interferes with brightness indicator. When scrolled, brightness changes but workspace is also changed. This issue is not there when I change volume through scrolling in the default volume indicator icon.
