Internal server error

Hi,

After the installation of the repository for my ilight lamp, and after the reboot of my haso, the integration report the error: 500 internal server error, server got itself in trouble.

How can I fix it? There's something wrong I do or something I have to do first?

I'm using a raspberry pi4 with home assistant core version 2025.12.1.

I seem to be experiencing the same problem. Likely an update to Home Assistant triggered this error.
I'm on the latest Home Assistant OS (Core 2026.1.0, Supervisor 2026.01.0, Operating System 16.3).

I do hope this will get resolved, although these BT lights are kinda outdated.

@HahahaAndre @MartijnC1984 posting in case you still have the issue and for anyone else that finds this.
I've just bought a couple of lights that use the iLink app, and so came searching for a Home Assistant addon.
I also got the error "500 internal server error, server got itself in trouble".
I did some googling and found another integration that had the issue, and their fix was to edit the "config_flow.py" file:
dlarrick/hass-kumo@bac989e

So I edited mine myself - there were several occurrences of "self.config_flow" that needed replacing with "self._config_flow" (basically just adding the underscore before the word "config").
Once those were all replaced, I saved the file, restarted Home Assistant, and now the integration works and I'm able to control my light.

I don't know if it was the right way or the best way, but it was good enough for me.

I've noticed someone has forked this repository and made some updates.
Probably better to add that as the repository instead of donandren's and installed their version:

Just when installing it, if following the installation instructions on the readme, make sure you use muddxyii's link instead of donandren's.
Maybe @muddxyii will see this and update their instructions :-) (Thanks for updating the integration)

After some try finally it works!

I didn't fine the self.config_flow but I find the self.config_entity. Adding the _(underscore) like @ryamoo said now work!!

I've also tried to install the @muddxyii version but I've reached the same problem (500 internal server error).

Sorry, my mistake. "Flow" was the name of the file not the thing that needed the underscore before it.

I installed muddxyii's version - I had to delete the original from my integrations, then remove it from HACS, before restarting.
Then add muddxyii's repository and integration before restarting again.
I think the files may not have been properly deleted at some point, so it still used the original file with the error.

But at least you've got it working now 👌
