Combining the images without crossing you eyes

Hi, nice blog post. Didn't see a way to leave a comment, so I'm leaving an "issue". =]

I'm curious if you have experimented with—rather than crossing your eyes—overlaying the two on top of each other and swapping between the two at a high frame rate. I've read in other articles that you can create a 3D effect without glasses/crossing your eyes by tricking your eyes into combining the two images. I've never seen this done with CSS but I bet you could do it (maybe with the help of javascript).
