This is a new Random battles format, which normally would be supported by Showdex, except for the generation changing rule. This is a best of 3 format where each game is a random battle from a random generation (gens 1 - 9). Showdex currently doesn't support switching generations mid-way through a battle, so we would need to patch in support.
