compilation is very slow

during Basecamp. trying the Starklings web, the compilation on my machine is very slow. (tried closing/refreshing the browser)

Lenovo thinkpad i7 (Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-1365U 1.80 GHz), Windows 64bit, chrome browser.

Also, can't move on without finishing the previous exercise, which sometimes can be problematic if you miss some. And refreshing (or just returning to already done exercise) deletes everything that was inserted (doesn't delete the "done" which is good..
