Grid with no gravity

I would like to point out the same issue found on the ducksboard gridster list of issues which wsa pointed out by benmonro - ducksboard#193. Take a look at the issue link which explains in depth the issue.

Is there a way that this can be introduced whereby one would not be allowed to leave vertical spaces, similarly to how one can currently leave horizontal spaces between grid items?

I would also be really looking forward for such a feature.

You might want to look at angular-gridster and click "Disable Floating".

Actually angular-gridster seems to do the job @pablosichert ! Doesn't it work for you? The Disable Floating feature does what is missing from the other one. Thanks a lot for your recommendation!

It does indeed work how I want it to, and they did a great job with that. I just dislike the fact that it is bound to Angular and I would rather like it "unopinionated".

Oh I see.. Yes I understand your situation. In my case, our application happens to be an Angular app so it totally fits our needs. Ideally the 'angular-gridster' would be a jQuery or native JS library and then it is wrapped in an Angular wrapper.
