Icon alignment distance varies with window size

When aligning an icon to the left or right the icon does not stick as the window size changes. The smaller the window's width the closer it gets to being aligned (Once you reach a point it is correct). And the larger the width the greater the distance of the icon from the side.

This is actually expected/default behaviour.
As the icon adheres to the actual size / is aligned to the content container in which you can write:

I assume you would like an option where the icon can be freely positioned inside the entire "banner" container instead?

Are you sure that is the case? It doesn't seem to be tied to the content area for me.

(This does have align left set and although I didn't take a picture of it this is also still the case when all of my css snippets are disabled)

I think this discrepancy is caused by Readable line length.

You bring up a good point. How are you adjusting the width of your content? Are you using a plugin for it? Or a custom CSS Snippet?

Nope, I just disabled Readable line length, it is a part of vanilla obsidian.
