Hash Mismatch Between Reference Implementation and Go Implementation

I have written a comparison harness that runs both the reference implementation and this Go implementation against ~100k synthetic files. There are 175 hash mismatches. I am working on a fix for the bug that is causing these mismatches and will submit a PR when it is fixed and tested.
