stPGOcc fails with both a random effect and a fixed effect categorical variable

The current solution would be to manually specify the dummy-coded variables for the categorical variable and supply those into the model formula, but that can get pretty clunky. This may also occur for other temporal models, but I have not yet confirmed this. I hope to have this fixed soon. Thanks to Cara Appel for bringing this to my attention.
