Why this is separate
The MIMIC-IV Demo worked example needs a bounded dataset assessment. A reusable registry is shared infrastructure for multiple future examples and should have its own contract, schema, tests, and documentation.
Acceptance criteria
- Define dataset suitability fields: access, license, credentialing, citation, file size, fields, update cadence, redistribution status, privacy classification, and calculator fit.
- Add validation for candidate records and support-state vocabulary.
- Generate a human-readable matrix for docs.
- Ensure registry records cannot be mistaken for permission to commit raw patient-level data.
