Describe the bug
When a TOC item in the upper section does not have any children, it still shows an expansion arrow. The arrow faces left-to-right and when clicked it rotates downward but no content is revealed because none exists. If there are no children, the arrow should not display.
To Reproduce
Add a supplementary markdown file (mytest.md) with normal front matter and either don't add any additional headings or mark all added headings as toc-ignore.
Expected behavior
No expansion arrow should display if expansion will not show new information.
