If you're talking about write-excel-file then searching the readme by "font" or "background color" shows that there is.

It also supports custom border styles.

No custom border style though, because why use custom borders. Just use custom background color and that should be enough. There could be properties like borderWidth, borderColor and borderStyle, but that would also mean borderLeftWidth, borderRightWidth, borderTopWidth, borderBottomWidth — that would be too many customization properties to support.
