the mute event is handled by livekit, its not transmitted via Matrix

no idea what's actually happening, but anyway the timing of the muting action does not correspond to the timing of the speaking action. this is particularly noticeable when high delay is involved, e.g. intercontinental calls, or maybe bad wifi
