Combined H-Statement in Section 2.2

It is currently not possible to assign combined H-statements in section 2.2; they must be entered individually in a one-to-one relation. However, for P-statements, it is possible to assign up to 5. Was this intentional? Thanks

For the hazardstatements of Acute Tox, there are three simple datatypes (Ghs00HazardAcuteToxOral, Ghs00HazardAcuteToxDermal, Ghs00HazardAcuteToxInhal). To combine them in futuere, does it make sense to put them into a single datatype (e.g., Ghs00HazardAcuteTox, value="312+332") to allow all combinations? The possiblility to combine H-statements, does it come in the next release?

In addition to the combined hazard satement codes, the codes with letters are missing (H350i, H360F, H360D, H361f, H361d, H360FD, H361fd, H360Fd, H360Df).

Combinations only exist for Acute Toxicity. Sensible combined H statements as identified by the Phrase Workgroup:

• H300+H330: Fatal if swallowed or if inhaled
• H300+H310+H330: Fatal if swallowed, in contact with skin or if inhaled.
• H301+H311: Toxic if swallowed or in contact with skin
• H301+H311+H331: Toxic if swallowed, in contact with skin or if inhaled.
• H301+H331: Toxic if swallowed or if inhaled.
• H302+H312: Harmful if swallowed or in contact with skin.
• H302+H312+H332: Harmful if swallowed, in contact with skin or if inhaled.
• H302+H332: Harmful if swallowed or if inhaled.
• H303+H313: May be harmful if swallowed or in contact with skin.
• H303+H313+H333: May be harmful if swallowed, in contact with skin or if inhaled.
• H303+H333: May be harmful if swallowed or if inhaled

UN GHS allows or free combinations of (any two or more) H phrases. This has impact on the XML and even more on phrases. The phrase workgroup decided that the combination should be curated and then tranlated in a coordinated manner, so only certain combines statements should be allowed. No further degrees of freedom necessary.
