How I get my best work done:
Without too many distractions..! It’s difficult to switch contexts. But once I’m really focused on a thing, no amount of noise will distract me.
The role I usually take in a team:
I like organising all the tasks and making sure things are on track. My technical skills are broad so I am happy to help out in any areas that need it.
My communication style:
- It can take me a lot of time to turn thoughts into sentences sometimes. So my responses might be slow.
- I prefer face to face communication - would love to work together in person if possible
What I value:
- Curiosity in all things
- Humor
- Building and supporting community
What people misunderstand about me:
I think I can come off as unapproachable or uninterested, because I don’t say much. But I really do like getting to know people.
How I like to get my feedback:
Written down so I can remember it for later! Its best for me if it's quite specific and direct.
Technical strengths & weaknesses:
- I think I’m pretty good at the more logical or mathematical problems, and I’m also good at finding bugs usually, because I get really into the details!
- This means I’m weaker at things like designing the big picture and the way things connect together.
Interests (programming or otherwise!):
- Art - making it, going to see exhibitions
- Board games
- Languages, both programming and foreign
- dumb internet trends lmao
