How I get my best work done:

Open and concise discussion, clear delegation of tasks and then time to focus on getting them done. I like working in a supportive team where no one is afraid to speak up or ask questions.

The role I usually take in a team:

I quietly get on with things. I'm rarely going to be the loudest in a team, instead I prefer to contribute my opinions when needed and then get stuck into whatever needs doing.

My communication style:

I'm reserved but fairly direct and straightforward. I'm generally quite quiet in larger groups, preferring smaller groups to work in.

What I value:

Honesty, transparency and hard work. I just appreciate when everyone is trying their best and is committed to the team effort.

What people misunderstand about me:

I can be quiet at first whilst I get to know new people and get comfortable in a new situation, this can be misconstrued for not liking people but it isn't true!

How I like to get my feedback:

In a direct but constructive way. I'm not easily offended or too proud to take on board advice, but I appreciate when feedback is delivered in a positive, helpful way that I can use to learn from.

Technical strengths & weaknesses:

Stronger in frontend e.g. JavaScript, React, CSS. Weaker on all things backend.

Interests (programming or otherwise!):

Sports - hockey, football, cycling, running, beach volleyball. And going to the pub.
