I would like to suggest a Pin tab option

I am a heavy user of speed dials for organizing my workflow (currently categorized into Study, Coding, Games, etc.). I would like to suggest a "Pin" feature for individual dials/tabs within a Group or Folder.

I have some points related to it :

Persistent Placement: Allow specific dials to be pinned so they always stay at the top or beginning of a group, regardless of how other dials are sorted or added.

Visual Indicator: Pinned dials could have a small pin icon or a subtle highlight to distinguish them from regular dials.

Workflow Benefit: This would allow users to keep their most frequently used "primary" links (like a main textbook site in a 'Study' group) immediately accessible while keeping related secondary links in the same folder.

Like for example :
In my "Study" folder, I want to pin my main research dashboard so it never moves, even as I add and remove temporary reference links around it.

Just to clarify (and brainstorm), what you suggest is:

• locking dials in place
• this would affect only "Dynamic layouts", since other layouts are already "fixed in place"
• fixed dials would be exempt from sorting / drag and drop / adding new, etc. operations
• I wonder, should they stay always in the top, so that pinning a dial that's somewhere down on the page would move it to the top? (where other pinned are). I guess pinning it anywhere it is right now would be also possible and maybe more desirable...
• dragging the pinned dial would then keep it pinned in the new place

Does this sound OK?

for now i have differentiated between tabs via the TAG feature , so i dont feel the need for pinning tabs anymore , but if you would like to introduce pinned tabs in each speed dial folder , that would also be good , i didnt meant dials sorry if it seemed so , i meant to say tabs inside the dials ( or folders to be precise ) , like for example here if pinterest and wallaper.cc are my most important sited i would pin them so they always stay at top , or maybe introduce a small section called pinned tabs inside the folder itself , idk you know how to do this better , but as for now by tagging tabs with emojis i have my work done , thanks a lot , btw i am the same guy from reddit , 💓
