Automatic language switching doesn't work correctly when NVDA is not set to English

I use NVDA in German and automatic language switching is turned on.

1. I visit an English website.
2. Eloquence switches to English.
3. I press win+m to go to the desktop or open any other application.

Result: Eloquence continues speaking using the English voice.

Expected behavior: Eloquence should switch back to German.

Thank you for looking into this so quickly, I appreciate this a lot. The problem has improved to some extend. When I go to the desktop having visited an English website, NVDA will now say desktop List using the English voice and will only then switch back to German. Also, when I’m on a Website and press alt to go to the browser menu, NVDA will still read the German menu using the English voice. In Browse Mode, it will also read the German words for elements such as button or landmark using the English voice. Also, when I’m on an English page and press NVDA+n to go to the NVDA Menu, the menu will also be read using the English voice. So, it’s better than before, but not yet ideal. Thanks for working on this.

@amenaide Thank you for the detailed feedback — that was very helpful for narrowing down what's happening.

The root cause of the remaining issues is that NVDA's SpeechManager carries the document language forward into speech sequences that don't belong to the document (desktop announcements, menus, role names like "button" or "landmark"). Our initial fix reset the voice at the start of each speak() call, but NVDA immediately re-applied the stale language command, overriding the reset.

The updated fix uses cancel() as a context-switch signal. When you press a key (Win+M, Alt, NVDA+N, etc.), NVDA cancels current speech before speaking the new content. We now detect this and suppress the stale language command that NVDA carries over from the previous document context. Continuous reading (sayAll) on foreign-language pages is unaffected because cancel() is not called between utterances in that mode.

Could you please test the latest build from PR #100 and let me know if all four scenarios are improved?

Thank you for your improvements.  I'm sorry to get back to you only this late; there are still inconsistencies I've been trying to pinpoint, and I've been a bit busy over the last days.

You asked me to test the following:
Win+M to desktop from an English page — should now speak "Desktop" in German
Works as expected.

Alt to open browser menu on an English page — menu items should be in German
Works as expected.

Role names ("Schalter", "Orientierungspunkt") while browsing an English page — should be in German
Works as expected while using arrow keys in browse mode, but not when using the tab key. Sometimes it will work as expected, sometimes it won't, and I wasn't able to figure out the logic behind this. 
For example, when I go to the top of the github page on https://github.com/akj/eloquence_64/blob/b3176a5577919674463d74d34559ce63081c8a2d/addon/synthDrivers/eloquence.py
and  am on the last link in the navigation menu, the link is "insights", and press tab once, NVDA will say "collapse file tree" using the English voice. when I press tab once more, it will say "collapse tree" using the German voice when it should be using the English voice.
I've tested against Espeak and Espeak will say this in English as expected.

Also please verify that reading English content with sayAll still uses the English voice throughout. 
It does, but it also reads things like list end using the English voice when it should be using the German voice.
