Is it possible to trigger enterprise workflow event and wait?

I want to trigger a enterprise github workflow event from a non enterprise github workflow. Is there any way I can do this?
As I saw [here](https://github.com/felixp8/dispatch-and-wait/blob/master/entrypoint.sh#L3), the api url (https://api.github.com) of github is hardcoded.
