Meeting Summary

TraderX Platform Demo & Deployment Updates

Dov Katz presented the latest TraderX platform demo, now fully functional and publicly accessible at traderx.finos.org.

Key capabilities demonstrated:

• Live trading environment
• Order creation and execution workflows
• Trade tracking and monitoring
• Real-time messaging visibility via the PubSub Inspector
• Environment setup automation for EC2 deployments
• Pre-generated NGINX configurations
• Kubernetes readiness for future scaling

Additional platform updates:

• Documentation has been migrated to GitHub Pages using Docusaurus
• New deployment/setup instructions have been added
• The environment is now significantly easier for contributors and hackathon participants to deploy locally or in cloud environments

AWS Hackathon Day Discussion

The group discussed the upcoming AWS Hackathon Day in Manhattan on June 8th as a strong opportunity to showcase TraderX and engage the FINOS community.

Discussion points included:

• Promoting the event through FINOS mailing lists and community channels
• Coordinating announcements once the updated TraderX landing page/cover screen is ready
• Using the event as a catalyst for broader contributor onboarding

Karl also shared a simplified TraderX overview presentation that had recently been shown to Linux Foundation leadership.
