FireStep outputs git SHA on startup, breaking parsers

The latest version of FireStep is outputting it's Git SHA on startup, which breaks existing drivers for it. This is easy enough to work around, but I think it is an inconsistency in the FireStep protocol. I suggest that if it's going to output it that it be in JSON format.

You read my mind. I was thinking exactly the same thing.
I'm moving towards total JSON for startup string.
