max 64 threads even if started with more (80)

no matter what -tN with N>64 i only see 64 'processors' in use, or 80% of my CPU power, and it's locked to processors 1-64, with 65-80 being mostly idle. Is this something else on my system limiting this, or is it something hardcoded in the miner?

That is the case when NUMA node support is not implemented or you got more than 64 threads in one socket.
There are workarounds tho.
