Power saving (disabling Bluetooth) is a useful option. However, this plugin is unstable under these circumstances—we need to think about what to do about it.

Do I need to analyze the code and possibly prevent the plugin from crashing when the device is missing, or add an option to prevent the plugin from crashing in the settings of the added device?

The plugin intentionally exits if communication to a BMS fails, to reset the bleak/python runtime and expects that the hassio watchdog restarts it. Do you have the add-on watchdog enabled?

A better way might be to do the restart loop within a shell-script.
Also, need re-consider this behaviour and verify that it really helps

I checked it just a few minutes ago - I turned off "the city" and my inverter started working from the batteries - and the Dali-BMS immediately "woke up" and became accessible via Bluetooth

Well, a properly designed BLE device can run for years on a CR2025 battery, so the Daly sleep mode is a quite bad design.
