Local buffer must be presized adequetly, need 61 frames, 26 channels - Win.front doesn't show window

I'm trying out trajectories.scd on a folder with 86 short drum samples. The supercollider script times out and I get a few versions of error messages of type "Local buffer must be presized adequetly, need 61 frames, 26 channels ". At the end of it there's a set of strings like:

timeout 212
1 200 0

It also crashes scsynth.
Is this something that can be fixed with changing server options?

Also is there any guidance on the server.options to use with regards to memSize, numbuffers or other kinds of memory options? In trying "02 Creating a Sound Map", I get a bunch of timeout messages, a server "localhost" exited with exit code 0 and disconnected shared memory interface and no scsynth running

I'm using s.options.memSize=8192*(1024-256), and this crashes with an oom error
