An update about this project

While the repository hasn't seen updates for a couple of months, the development is going ahead, for now in a private repository. The reason for this is that the new version is no longer implemented in Bash but rather in POSIX-compliant shell code, which makes it faster and compatible with a wider range of systems, but incompatible with this repository. So the new version will have a new name and will be published in a new repository (I will add a link to it here of course). At this point, the translation to POSIX shell code is complete, and quite a few new features and various improvements have been implemented. However there is one more thing which I want to include with the new version and it is nftables support. That is still in the works but shouldn't take too long now. Keep posted.
