Hi. Whether or not Koito can attribute all of the listens to the same album automatically has to do with how much information Koito gets in the API call. With very limited information, Koito may create a new album even if the album title is the same but artist is different to avoid the case where different albums are accidentally attributed together (merging albums is easier than un-merging). If MBIDs are provided, however, Koito should handle the case gracefully. Do you know if your music is tagged with MBIDs (or if your client provides them in the request)? |

Hi, I've recently migrated from Maloja, and have been loving this app. I have one gripe though. My history is too fragmented i.e. the same album is broken into parts by artists. I listen to albums with various artists quite a lot, and so it's a big issue for me.
All of these have album artists marked as one specific entity based on who compiled it, or some other factor. But Koito doesn't seem to have access to that info. Is there a good way to merge these fragmented albums rather than doing it manually?
