Stuck on the Edit Button during frame segmentation

What functionality does the edit/pencil button have? After clicking "Get Video Info" I thought I could refine the masks on a finer detail by clicking edit and zooming in but from what I see there is no way to continue segmentation or leave without clicking the X which completely removes the frame information.
