WiFi provisioning

really like the library, works well and to the point

curious - have you considered adding WiFi credential configuration in some shape or form

I've recently playeed with the ImprovWiFi library and made it work with the stock arduino3 BLE support: https://github.com/mhaberler/Improv-WiFi-Library/blob/main/examples/arduino-BLE/src/main.cpp

could of course coexist on the web page like used here https://www.improv-wifi.com/

just thinking aloud doing OTA and provisioning in the same web app

what do you think?

Hi @mhaberler, i was not aware of this SDK for provisioning, teoretically can be done a single web app but i can't see a lot of use case since BLE and WiFi coesistestance usually decrease the performance of both, and if you have wifi probably you don't need the BLE OTA, but maybe you have in mind better use case.

I'm leaning a bit towards doing both jobs in BLE as autodiscovery is great and the whole BLE init can be restricted to an update/configure state scenario

I think I see the misunderstanding.

ImprovWiFi is a bit of a misnomer - it configures via the serial port and WiFi is not involved in the config path, just for scan/connect.

and that works over WebBLE as well - which is the example I posted

ie both functions via WebBLE. That's why I was referring to it.
