If the "Feed Length" is supposed to be the maximum number of content characters that the feed dumps to the RSS feed, then it is not working correctly. I had to set it to 132 and it dumped a description that was more than 900 characters.
Even when I stripped out all HTML it was still nowhere close to 132 characters.
On a hunch, I dropped the HTML into LibreOffice and did a word count which got much closer but still not the same.
