[FEAT]: Sidekiq Prometheus Metrics

Describe the solution you'd like
It would be super useful to get sidekiq prometheus metrics. We could collect the metrics, build some grafana dashboards and even build alerting if jobs are failing etc.

Additional context
There is already a good project which should deliver all the necessary files needed: https://github.com/Strech/sidekiq-prometheus-exporter

Would be cool if this can be implemented;)

We use it on a private repo to have analytics for sidekiq (on the same redis instance) but y're totally right!
We will add Yabeda #4090 and I think we'll use their sidekiq plugin!

I'm just thinking on how to make those /metrics endpoints private if your api is public.

Hm ... if you run on k8s with the helm chart it would be easy possible via ingress annotation (whitelist). Maybe it's possible to make such a IP restriction in Puma / sidekiq webserver?

Yes I'm trying to add a middleware on the app side.
With some ingress controller, it's not feasible (eg: ALB ingress controller), with traefik and nginx, it's pretty easy!
