Google Drive shared drives not working: insufficient authentication scopes

When I specify a shared drive (in the web GUI on macOS), I get this error when pressing Continue:

Failed to look up the drive id: googleapi: Error 403: Request had insufficient authentication scopes.

Leaving the shared drive textbox blank works fine
