CSS classes for all elements/groups

Is it not possible to add CSS classes to all elements or element groups for further custom formatting on embedded svg?

Like class='text_axis_x', class='data_label' and so on ...

I only found the option to add a class to the svg root element.

There is the semantic_classes option, which adds classes to some groups of elements, but not to everything.
