Today I hit what looks like a show-stopping, product-breaking quota bug in Antigravity CLI as a paid Google AI Pro subscriber.

After just a few web search queries inside Antigravity CLI, my web search quota was hard-locked for 167 hours (almost 7 days). No warning, no sensible rate-limit behavior - on a paid plan marketed as "high, generous quota".

This is a technical failure, not intended behavior

• You force migration from Gemini CLI to Antigravity CLI with public deprecation deadlines.

• But web search - a core feature - is bricked by a 167-hour lockout after a trivial number of calls.
• No visible, documented per-feature quota explains this behavior.

This looks like either a badly misconfigured quota bucket or a hostile rate-limit shipped to prod without realistic dev UX testing.

In both cases: not on the user. Broken product decision.

Support / escalation is a black hole

• Legal/policy forms are for copyright disputes - not for CLI quota bugs.
• Public channels bounce you to help pages with no engineer on the other side.
• No documented SLA for quota bugs that block migration from deprecated tools.

For a "developer-first" platform, this is a systemic anti-pattern.

Why this is not just a limitation

• AI Pro is advertised with high, generous quotas with frequent refresh.
• A 167-hour lockout after a handful of searches is neither generous nor reasonable.
• When you force developers to migrate and the target tool is unusable due to an internal quota bug, that is a blocking defect, not a minor inconvenience.

What needs to happen - P0, not a feature request

1. Immediate fix: Remove 167-hour hard lockout for AI Pro users OR raise web search quotas to match documented paid tier limits.
2. Public documentation: Publish per-feature limits (web search, tools, model calls) broken down by plan with exact reset intervals.
3. Real escalation channel: Dedicated issue queue owned by Antigravity/Gemini engineering team with SLA for paid users.
4. Retroactive review: Identify all AI Pro users hit by this lockout pattern, restore access, and prevent recurrence.

This is a normal story for Antigravity. Every n your quota reset you can reach your "weekly" limit.

I'm making the most of Gemini CLI. As an individual user (free quota), they're incredibly generous; I've helped a lot as a developer by reporting many bugs. I tried AGY CLI for a few days, and it's shameful how the free user version doesn't even come close. You make a few requests and your quota runs out, and I have a 167-hour reset (7 days) when Gemini only has 24 hours. The difference is unbelievable, even though they're from the same company. If they really consider Gemini CLI to be the same as Antigravity CLI, I don't see it at all; it's terrible.
