Summary
The March 18–19, 2026 Stitch update is a major platform redesign, not an incremental release. Several skills in this repo reference behaviors, workflows, and assumptions that no longer match the current Stitch product. Requesting updates to keep this library aligned.
What changed in the March 2026 update
- AI-native infinite canvas replaces the single-screen editor; multiple assets (images, text, code, UI) coexist in one workspace
- 4 AI modes (Ideate, 3 Flash, Standard, Thinking) across three underlying models — previous skills that reference a 2-mode system (Standard / Experimental) are now inaccurate
- Voice Canvas — users can speak directly to the canvas for real-time critiques and live edits
- Direct Edits — users can now click-to-edit text, swap images, and adjust spacing without re-prompting (major workflow change)
- DESIGN.md is now a first-class concept: a portable, agent-readable design system file natively generated by Stitch and consumable via MCP
- 5 screens generated simultaneously (up from 1)
- Daily credit system replaced the previous monthly generation cap
- MCP server + SDK officially released, enabling Stitch → Claude Code / Gemini CLI / Cursor workflows
- Stitch now exports to Figma format in addition to HTML/CSS
