Hi! The goal of this tech-drawing sprint, is to get properly documented the Grapples design made by @polemidis.
Step 1. Understand the overall goal of the sprint and the success criteria.
There are some good guidelines to make good technical drawings.
. Step in the shoes of your audience (can be a user, a manufacturer, or a developer). Know who you are delivering your "product to"
. Have a good reviewer. In this case @polemidis is a farmer, and uses the Grapples, so he knows what normally you look for in terms of specifications when choosing a Grapples for your tractor.
. And then there are some good standards, that we can follow.
. Make a first iteration, don't worry about having a perfect drawing, the best is to have one that is good enough for your audience. In the next iteration we make it better.
Download FreeCAD because our files are in freeCAD
2.1. Plan and breakdown the sprint tasks. Lets do that by making cards for each part in the sprint board, so that you can go step by step, as well as others newcomers.
In order to progress from zero to good technical documentation of drawings within this board there are basic things to consider.
2.2. The idea here is that you map the components you have to document using our wiki documentation of the grapples. This way you will undertand the purpose of the machine and what it does.
2.3 Open files on the mechanical parts folder, once you have cloned this repository on your local machine:
