That could work if the core editor AvalonEdit can be fully replaced by AvaloniaEdit . I haven't tried.
I am in the construction industry, where 99% of software runs on Windows. So it is not my priority.
However, I will happily support anyone who wants to contribute such a feature.

@jkone27 I tested port to Avalonia, it compiles and runs on windows ( but still needs a lot of polishing and styling, and it is missing a few features: https://github.com/goswinr/Fesh/tree/Avalonia
