Setup and Installation

  1. Clone the repository
git clone https://github.com/govinddwivedi-git/competitive-programming-tracker.git
  1. Install dependencies
# Frontend
cd frontend
npm install

# Backend
cd backend
npm install
  1. Configure environment variables
# Create .env file in backend directory
DB_HOST=localhost
DB_USER=your_username
DB_PASSWORD=your_password
DB_NAME=your_database_name
  1. Start the application
# Frontend
npm start

# Backend
npm run dev

API Configuration

To use the platform, you'll need to set up API keys for:

  • Codeforces API
  • CodeChef API
  • LeetCode API

Add these keys to your backend .env file.
