Docs for using Ring

It would be really useful to be able to see some usage info on how the Ring K/V store should be implemented, this is a really cool library and it's something I'd like to figure out, but without docs it's pretty challenging.

agree that docs would be a good idea. Here's an example of how the store-gateway in Mimir uses it:

• setup
• startup procedure
• using the ring to shard prometheus TSDB blocks between store-gateway replicas
