The Big Idea
Currently, the app only displays when each prayer time (waqt) begins. However, for Muslims trying to plan their prayers, knowing only the start time is insufficient. Each prayer has a specific window of time during which it must be completed, and without knowing when that window ends, users may delay their prayer too long and miss the opportunity to pray within the valid time period.
The Why
Describe the solution you'd like I would like the app to display both the start time and the end time for each prayer (waqt). This would allow users to:
See exactly how much time remains before the current prayer period expires
Plan their prayer schedule more effectively
Ensure they complete their prayer before the waqt ends
Suggested Implementation:
Add an "Ends at" or "Valid until" timestamp next to each prayer time
Optionally show a countdown timer or remaining duration (e.g., "45 minutes remaining")
Highlight the current active prayer with visual indicators showing time remaining
Design Ideas
Fajr: 5:12 AM — Ends: 6:30 AM (1h 18m left)
Dhuhr: 12:45 PM — Ends: 3:30 PM
Asr: 4:15 PM — Ends: 6:45 PM
Maghrib: 7:05 PM — Ends: 7:35 PM
Isha: 8:30 PM — Ends: 5:12 AM (next day)
