Option to hide the scalebar

Hi, maybe I didn't look enough but there doesn't seem to be an option to generate a plot without a scalebar. My dirty fix was to fix the scalebar_thickness to 1e-10 and set 'scale_loc' to "none" in the kwargs. I think a show_scalebar boolean option would be very useful.

You should only get a scalebar if you provide a unit. If you don't provide a unit, there won't be a scalebar. I agree that it's not like an option show_scalebar but my assumption is that if you provide a unit you do it to get a scalebar as otherwise it is useless.
