[FEATURE] Add horizontal scrolling gesture

There is vertical scrolling that is already implemented but no horizontal scrolling using gestures (like for example pressing the mouse wheel sideways or scrolling on touchpad horizontally with two fingers)

Capture horizontal events from mouse/touchpad.

I was checking out the scrolling features and the missing horizontal scrolling felt strange.

I'd like to contribute this feature, it's a pretty simple change but contributes to the quality of life.
