Windows 8 or older architecture switch

ChrisEric1 CECL discovered how to upgrade Windows XP SP3 x86, Windows Vista, Windows 7 and Windows 8.0 to Windows 8 Build 7963 x64 or 7955 x86. Those are unofficial Windows upgrade paths because:

1. Upgrading from x86 to x64 or vice versa has never been officially supported
2. Upgrading from Windows XP or Vista to Windows 8 has never been officially supported
3. Upgrading from Windows 8.0 to one of its own betas has never been officially supported

Replacing the install.wim by one from another version of Windows may also work and possibly allow us to upgrade to Windows 7 or higher from Windows XP. Using the Application Verifier trick from the Windows XP x64 -> Vista upgrade may also allow it to work on 64 bit XP.
