Currently we are still running the search cluster from Elasticsearch 7.10, which is no longer provided by AWS OpenSearch services. Upgrading to OpenSearch v2 requires some analysis of the current dynamic mappings used by the Entities and Portal indices. Changes to the mappings may potential affect the reindex outcome, so this requires some coordination with the Harvard team and IU team.
