How Close Would The HS9216 Firmware Be To The HS9215?

Hi,

I have 3x HS9215 based servers in my homelab and would like to flash the firmware with a more up-to-date and open BMC firmware. How different are the architectures between the HS9216 and HS9215 boards?

What would need to be changed in order to make an HS9215 compatible image?

I have a HS9215 coming and I fear also that it may have a locked down or signed BMC
