explanation for having 3 different lists for pairs, elderly and volunteers a little questionable

it says on the DG that the data is stored on 3 different files in case of a corrupted file so that others are not affected, but even if a single file is corrupted, FL will start with empty lists for all 3 lists.

I went into the elderly file to rename 'region' to 'regoon', and saved the datafile, and upon restarting FL, all 3 lists are empty.

furthermore, upon going back to the elderly file to rename 'regoon' back to 'region', and restarting FL, the 3 lists are back.

This DG section states that storing the elderly and volunteer in separate files will reduce the impact of the corrupted file.

However in the UG, it states that if the data file is invalid, FriendlyLink will discard ALL data.

We agree that the phrasing is not correct.

We should fix the Editing the Data File section to “FriendlyLink will discard all data when user enters a command on the next run”

We should change the Storage section to mention “advanced users only need to check one of the corrupted files by closing the app immediately if one of the files is corrupted, since FriendlyLink will not overwrite the files until a command is entered.”
