ability to plug in vehicles and winterize them

Love the mod, would love it harder if we could plug in vehicles in the winter to keep the engine warm( not for charging) say for up to 48 hrs, as we do in cold temps , and an ability to fully winterize vehicles ,for a fee to put em away and take em out in the spring, fee could be for flushing the system for winterization, when taken out in spring, only have 10% fluids ( diesel, ad blue etc)

this all so we can put them away for the winter if your not gonna use it long term so as to not end up with a dead battery on a bunch of vehicles every time we time skip a winter season

Hi! Thank you for the interesting ideas, but at the moment we do not have plans to implement things like this.

ADS still has many promising directions for development, as well as missing features that would make the mod more comfortable to use: jump-start and charging devices, the ability to service vehicles manually, improved balance, more realistic breakdown simulation, and so on.

As for preheating, we do plan to add diesel engine preheating using glow plugs.

Regarding batteries discharging over winter: you can adjust the self-discharge current in the settings according to your days-per-month setup, or disable self-discharge entirely :)

seem immersion breaking to have to adjust battery charge setting bc winter is hard on batteries....ill save my suggestions for someone else this really just seemed handwaves away by you ....have a good day

Why does that break immersion? The game itself has a huge number of settings: time scale, days per month, and so on. ADS works in real time, so it needs to be adjusted individually for your specific game setup.

For example, if you play with 10–30 days per month, your batteries would end up discharging every in-game week. That would be immersion-breaking.

All default ADS settings are designed around a standard gameplay setup: x2–x5 time scale and 1 day per month.

As for the idea that I “waved away” your suggestions — I’m sorry you perceived it that way. You should understand that many other people use my mod as well, and they are waiting for other features and improvements. Right now I have very limited free time, and I cannot implement every single idea into the mod. There have to be priorities.
